The series follows Elliot Alderson, a young cyber engineer ,New York City's resident, who works at Allsafe as a cyber security engineer.Elliot has social anxiety disorder and chronic depression which causes
him to struggle socially and live isolated from other people, but connects to people by hacking them and acts as a cyber vigilante.Elliot meets an unknown mysterious man who calls himself Mr.Robot.Mr.Robot recruits Elliot into an underground hacker group called "FSOCIETY".The main goal of this group is to destroy the multinational companies which Elliot is paid to protect.Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance
to take down the multinational CEOs that are running (and ruining) the
